Public Notice: Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) 2026–2031

The American Samoa Department of Commerce, Community Planning & Development Division, hereby provides public notice of the availability of the draft 2026–2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for public review and comment.

The CEDS serves as a strategic planning document that establishes economic development priorities, identifies key opportunities and challenges, and provides a framework to guide future economic growth, investment, and development throughout American Samoa.

The public is encouraged to review the draft document and provide comments during the public comment period from October 5, 2026 through November 13, 2026. A Public Hearing will also be held on November 13, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Department of Commerce Conference Room, located on the 1st Floor of Pago Plaza.
