Public Notice: Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER)
Notice is Hereby Given that the American Samoa Government will submit a Consolidated
Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Program Year 2023 to the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) before September 30, 2024.
The CAPER is an annual report that describes the use of the following Community Planning
and Development (CPD) Programs funded by HUD: Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME)
grant.
Citizens and interested parties are invited to review a draft copy of the CAPER. The draft is
available for public review and comment(s) from September 13, 2024 to September 29,
2024 at the Department of Commerce during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. The public has fifteen (15) days to comment on the proposed
CAPER draft. All comments must be submitted in writing to the CPD Coordinator via email
or letter to petti.matila@doc.as.gov. A summary of public comments received will be
included in the CAPER submitted to HUD.
