Coast Weeks 2015

It’s that time of year again…

The 2015 Coastweeks launches the PALS (People, Air, Land, and Sea) Initiative, a Government-wide celebration in October and November. Through the Department of Commerce Coastal Management Program, Coast Weeks 2015 celebrates American Samoa’s most important natural resource, the coasts.

The Department of Commerce Coastal Management Program invites you to participate in a coastal celebration complete with fun-filled activities for the entire family. A few fun things to look forward to this year are the annual family fun beach day, student photography and poetry competitions, and canoe challenges.

Come one, come ALL to the annual Family Fun Beach Day on September 26 from 12pm to 4pm. Bring your friends, school, youth groups and families. Have a picnic at the Utulei Beach Park with your family and friends during Coast Weeks and enjoy the music and entertainment hosted by Coast Weeks. It will be an exciting day filled with innovative activities and educational booths that highlight our rich natural resources from our ridges to our reefs.
